Salmon River Hockey Family:

I'm sure you've seen on the news and social media, the terrible accident and tragic loss of 15 Humboldt Broncos hockey players this past weekend in Saskatchewan Canada.

I have been involved in hockey most of my life and as hockey coaches, parents and players, you know hockey means family, regardless of where you are or what country you are from.

Please ask your players to wear their jersey's to school on Thursday in memory of those lost.  Take a moment to honor the 15 players and help their hockey memories live on!

We should all also take a moment to appreciate our own family, and the support they can provide in such an unfortunate accident.  It's a great support system that extends beyond school districts, towns, or villages.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the families, friends and players of those who have been devastated by the loss.

Thank you,
Steve Olson, SRIHA President
