The Salmon River Board of Directors are proud and excited to announce the All-Army Ice Hockey team candidates are coming to the Haldane Ice Arena on Monday December 11th to skate with our kids and coaches.

Soldiers from installations around the world have gathered at Fort Drum to participate in a three-week All Army ice hockey camp that will end with a contest against a Canadian Army team on December 16th in Watertown.

Among the U.S. Army Hockey team, five are from the 10th Mountain Division and one is an assistant coach.  Three Soldiers are stationed in Alaska, one in Germany and another in Vicenza Italy.  Several of candidates trying out played for the Black Knights as well.

We are inviting all Salmon River and Ontario Bay players and coaches to come skate with the solders and gain some valuable hockey experience.

All practices will be cancelled on December 11th.  The schedule to skate with the All-Army Ice Hockey team is as follows:

5:30 – 6:15 Mites and Squirts
6:15 – 7:00 Peewees and Bantams
7:00 – 8:00 Midgets and Ontario Bay
